We’re excited to have our post-wedding reception in beautiful Goodale Park located in the Short North of Columbus, OH.
Founded in 1851, Goodale Park is the oldest park in Columbus and among the oldest parks in the United States. The Shelterhouse has some more recent updates, but remains one of the oldest structures in the Columbus Parks systems and the exterior of the building retains much of the historic charms of the surrounding historic neighborhood.
The Shelterhouse is climate-controlled, handicapped-accessible, and has men’s and women’s restrooms. There is also ample parking, and a large adjacent playground for the kids! We will make use of the 75 person interior capacity and also likely rent tents to enclose the exterior brick plazas for additional space.
Find out more about Goodale Park by visiting the Columbus Parks & Recreation Department.
